This is the miniature plane I love to shape braces with and is great for any type of miniature work. This version is a flat soled low angle, blade bevel up plane with the body made from African Blackwood and Western Maple. The blade set at a low bedding angle, in combination with a short toe means this plane can get into tighter places more easily than most mini planes. The sides are also tapered to almost zero at the sole to allow this plane to shave all the way down to the surface while on its side. Very limited supply.

• African Blackwood and Western Maple body with a 3/16” brass cross pin and maple wedge

• O1 steel blade 1/8” thick and 1/2” wide, hardened and tempered to Rc 61-63

• angle of side to sole is approx. 98 degrees

• length of plane body is 1 7/8” (48mm)

• height is approx >3/4” (20mm)
